Sharing my journey _ one story at a time.
About me:
My journey over the years included heartache, challenges, and deep grief. However as I move through middle age, I am learning my path has also been full of love, joy, and resilience. And where I go next is up to the Universe!
This blog includes my experiences with having both my daughters dealing with life threatening illness, my career as an educator, and navigating my own health crises. Luckily, I have lots of living to do and many more stories to share.

Ryleigh is at St. John hospital in Vanderhoof receiving an anti viral medication to help reduce the symptoms and further blisters and rash from the varicella-zoster virus. It is more commonly known as shingles. She started having discomfort a week ago. After some visits to doctor’s office and emergency as well as discussing with her Read more

A moment of hope…pictures do say it all…
Thanks to the wonderful team Kevin and Laurie at Wallace Studios who allowed us to have this moment of hope last summer when we had some time that was not focused on illness and health issues. Instead we enjoyed our new back yard on a lovely summer evening. I have it now placed Read more
