Sharing my journey _ one story at a time.

About me:

My journey over the years included heartache, challenges, and deep grief. However as I move through middle age, I am learning my path has also been full of love, joy, and resilience. And where I go next is up to the Universe!

This blog includes my experiences with having both my daughters dealing with life threatening illness, my career as an educator, and navigating my own health crises. Luckily, I have lots of living to do and many more stories to share.

Some progress has happened this weekend for Ryleigh. Saturday was an excellent day! Ryleigh showed a more energetic and positive demeanor in a variety of different settings. • Caring comes in many ways….

I continue to be impressed by the care Ryleigh is receiving. Tonight I gave her a bath and washed her hair. When I was combing it out her nurse offered to french braid her hair so that she wouldn’t have to worry about her hair the next couple of days. Ryleigh felt special and cared Read more

  • Busy Day, so far…

Tim and Chloe made it safely down in the nick of time as I have seen the snow that has fallen at home. Ryleigh has enjoyed the company of someone besides mom. Chloe is so good for Ryleigh as she gets Ryleigh playing, laughing, and not just sitting/lying in her bed. Tim is obsessed with Read more
